2017 was my first full year as an ex-pat (similar to an x-man but my power is not being able to understand anyone and their slang and basically learning to live life all over again in a foreign land – maybe more howard the duck than x-man).<\/h2>\n

1. What did you do in 2017 that you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d never done before?
\nSaw radiohead. Not see friends and family and cat for more than a year. Not eat a slice of real pizza. directed traffic. learn to cook. bartended.\u00c2\u00a0 bought a bus pass. ate fried pizza. saw nick cave.<\/p>\n

2. Did you keep your new years\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
\ni never make them and you know it. however – goals. this year im having them. youre on it as well, website.<\/p>\n

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
\nseriously babies never stop. babiessssssssss<\/p>\n

4. Did anyone close to you die?
\na few major ones. im hoping it slows down a bit, but as we get older that gets a little bit harder to maintain.<\/p>\n

5. What countries did you visit?
\nnone!!! straight up scotsman all year. hoping for some international flight this year. goals, baby.<\/p>\n

6. What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017?
\nenergy. ENERGY. energy times motivation equals output.<\/p>\n

7. What date from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
\na few. seeing st etienne in glasgow. seeing radiohead. moving to our new flat. finally getting a job.<\/p>\n

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
\ngetting a job. it was a long struggle.<\/p>\n

9. What was your biggest failure?
\neating too much crap and not putting out as much work as i could.<\/p>\n

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
\nkids give the sickies real easy when theres no anti-bac around.<\/p>\n

11. What was the best thing you bought?
\nsome really good records. a desk.<\/p>\n

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
\nmy bil and sil for handling a lot of stuff<\/p>\n

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
\nlots of lots of people in positions of power.<\/p>\n

14. Where did most of your money go?
\nbillz<\/p>\n

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
\nlast jedi (awesome). new st etienne (awesome) moving (awesome) TACO BELL IN GLASGOW. yes.<\/p>\n

\nprob the same as this past year, with my scotland fam, tho i wouldnt mind going home either.<\/p>\n

\ni have one nightstand by my bed but that didnt show up until 2018<\/p>\n

\ndamn i dont think i read a whole book this year. at least i cant remember it.<\/p>\n

\nthe orielles. holy crap so good.<\/p>\n

\na fucking job.<\/p>\n

\na job (for most of the year) vans in a color i wanted. i just typed color as colour and had to go back and change it.<\/p>\n

\n41!! had a nice celebration with wife.<\/p>\n
