A lotter late"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br>Well look at that \u2013 2023 arrived. I\u2019m calling it 2022-2. It doesn\u2019t feel that removed from the first 2022, or 2021. Or 2020. Or 2017. Things happen, things don\u2019t happen. We learn, we don\u2019t learn. Look at that horizon and don\u2019t do anything today you can do tomorrow. Better start this my damn jerk brain is listening.<br><br>1.What did you do in 2022 that you\u2019d never done before?<br>Got two big ailments! Oh fun.<br><br>2. Did you keep your new years\u2019 resolutions, and will you make more for next year?<br>Not so much this year \u2013 I started off with goals and some were easy (reading) some not so (creating, making local friends).<br>This year the goals are similar; draw more. Try and finish my book. Create more than I consume. Lose weight in time for going home. <br><br>3. Did anyone close to you give birth?<br>I think so. <br><br>4. Did anyone close to you die?<br>Yup!<br><br>5. What countries did you visit?<br>Glasgow is like 5 countries in one but I barely left the flat so I guess the answer is 2.<br><br>6. What would you like to have in 2023 that you lacked in 2022?<br>A diploma, a UK driver\u2019s license. A saxophone. Home stuff.<br> <br>7. What date from 2022 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?<br>The day I passed my remain in the UK test, had 30 minutes of happiness and then found out my cat died.<br><br>8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?<br>Getting a job I actually like.<br><br>9. What was your biggest failure?<br>I could cut and paste last year\u2019s answer and chart the course.<br><br>10. Did you suffer illness or injury?<br>OH DID I<br><br>11. What was the best thing you bought?<br>An air fryer. I think that was last year. (editor&#8217;s note. It was fucking 2020.)<br><br>12. Whose behavior merited celebration?<br>Everyone not a selfish asshole.<br><br>13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?<br>Every selfish asshole.<br><br>14. Where did most of your money go?<br>Chinese food, records.<br><br>15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?<br>Passing my remain in the UK test was huge. <br><br>16. What songs will always remind you of 2022?<br>well, once again, here are my top ten listened to songs of 2022 as determined by my ever-malfunctioning last.fm scrobbler.<br>Also once again (once again again) I was in the realm of going through the itunes A-Z BUT this is not as reflective of it this time around. I really try but also really look at how I\u2019ve always done this.<br><br>20. How will you be spending Christmas?<br>FAM FAM XMAS hopefully, was a good one this year.<br><br>21. How many one night stands?<br>On new years I stayed up until 11:45.<br><br>24. What were your favorite TV programmes?<br>Reservation Dogs. Yellowjackets (wedren\/Waronker theme song come on now), Always Taskmaster. Our Flag Means Death, only murders in the building, Marvelous Mrs Maisel. <br><br>25. Do you hate anyone now that you didnt hate this time last year?<br>SO many jerks have surfaced in the world now that the light is brighter.<br><br>26. What was the best book you read?<br>Bob Mortimer\u2019s biography \u2018and away\u2026\u2019 was such a great easy read, but I think what stuck with me most is Michaela Cole\u2019s \u2018Misifts: a personal manifesto\u2019 was just an incredibly moving read that I think I need to go back to. She is inspirational.<br><br>27. What was your greatest musical discovery?<br>Wet Leg, but I mean everyone discovered them this year so.<br><br>28. What did you want and get?<br>A job I like! I got a job I like. I think I\u2019ve had 5 of those in my many jobs.<br><br>29. What did you want and not get?<br>copy, paste &#8211; COPY\/PASTE \u2013 THOSE DAMN FISHBONE SNEAKERS! A saxamaphone. Energy.<br><br>30. What was your favorite film of this year?<br>If it\u2019s a movie from another year I haven\u2019t seen before, its Tick Tick Boom, if it\u2019s from this year its Kids in the Hall: Comedy punks as a Doc, and Everything everywhere all at once as a Move.<br><br>31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?<br>46. I think I worked.<br><br>32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?<br>Def a drivers license. Getting home smoothly. <br><br>33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2022?<br>As little as possible.<br><br>34.
